The eagle is the symbol of....
America today....
But things might not have been the same....
Had Franklin had his way....
Ben Franklin was a genius, who....
Showed talent many ways....
Inventing rocking chairs and stoves....
While testing lightning’s rays....
Perhaps we should be thankful that....
Ben didn’t have his way....
The eagle wouldn’t be our bird....
The turkey would, today....
